<tr><td><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Hello there Crafty Friends!!!</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Long time, no see!! I know!! I just have been focusing a lot on my family and my students these past few months, so crafting has not been high on my list of priorities. I probably could/should do more of it to get my mind off of things, but I've been using exercise for that . So this year I will post as I create things and we will see where that takes me. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I was able to get a little bit of my crafting mojo back this week to make a super fun card that can be given to a teacher of any sort for Valentines Day or to simply let them know that you love them!</span></span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9RI4BygIMwJ2pBe2lILV-gii065X6xroVHMN5fqkXQIHI1owXMYv5UquVLusZzBt1ctiV1VdFIDQ6MIRFrtiM_6e2-2ki52DWLrrWoTpcXkAyWXPGGJ4IM5zOnarPW8fjF8vuWOImPh5i/s1600/100_8263.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9RI4BygIMwJ2pBe2lILV-gii065X6xroVHMN5fqkXQIHI1owXMYv5UquVLusZzBt1ctiV1VdFIDQ6MIRFrtiM_6e2-2ki52DWLrrWoTpcXkAyWXPGGJ4IM5zOnarPW8fjF8vuWOImPh5i/s320/100_8263.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Isn't this just the cutest card! All of the paper used came from my scraps!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I used my Letraset ProMarkers to color in this image. The sentiment is from the <a href="http://www.createyourclassroom.com/" target="_blank">Create Your Classroom:</a> Back to School Set. Bet you didn't know that you could use a Back to School set for a Valentines Day creation did you?!? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
The adorable Heart Gumball Machine was a freebie that I found over at<a href="http://lshdesigns.blogspot.com/2011/01/heart-gumball-machine-digi-stamp-free.html" target="_blank"> Little Scraps of Heaven</a>. For a little bit of added bling I used some of the Martha Stewart glitter that I had. I also used some Glossy Accents on the glass portion of the gumball machine. </div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I had a lot of fun creating this card. It felt really good to make it! I hope you enjoyed what you saw today! I would love to hear your thoughts! Be sure to stop by my other CYC DT Sister's pages to see what they were able to create using the CYC: Back to School Set. </span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Okay, now on to my project for this week! Our challenge from Wendy was to create something using the <a href="http://www.createyourclassroom.com/" target="_blank">Back to School Stamp</a> set with either a Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Winter Theme. I must admit that at first this was a big challenge, but the more I thought....and thought....and thought, I was finally able to think of something that would allow me to meet the challenge expectation and here it is! </span><br />

<tr><td>Hi everyone,<br />
<br />
I told you I would be back here more frequently now!! LOL! I started back to work today after having been off all summer. I love being able to get back and see how all of my co-workers are doing and have spent their summer. It always seems like we haven't been gone for too long. It was a busy day full of meetings and then I did have some time to work in my classroom, which is a BIG work in progress. I will post pictures after I have everything set up. <br />
<br />
I just wanted to share a card that I made for my mister for his birthday back in June. It was only my my 3rd time working with a digi stamp, which I have really grown to love lately as my Cricut machines have been giving me some issues occasionally. The image is called Handy Harry from <a href="http://digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.com/" target="_blank">Digital Delights by Louby Loo.</a> I have gotten a lot of the digital images that I've worked with from this site and I just LOVE them, they fit my personality and crafting style so well! <br />

<br />
My oh my!!! It's been a LONG time since I've blogged! I had to take a hiatus from crafting and blogging because I just wasn't feeling it! I feel like that happened a few times over the past year, and I'm not sure why. Don't know if it's something that all crafters go through or just me. Nonetheless, I'm back and plan to do my best to blog at least once or twice or maybe even three times a week!!! <br />
<br />
Although I was on a sort of hiatus, I did create a few things here and there over the past few months. <br />
<br />
I decided that for my first official post back, I would share a super cute and fun card that I created this past weekend. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjejvddjxDy5J-UHCh96smoAROVhLy7LXENFll6_TwAqB8_5QXYJ3ker8Tm_rmOQkswLTzUIlJhxOg1mA2n3lHWBf8MUsBnmgU8qahX2Xbm0p_8DJKfyse_qYXolEfXkuVhyJHd1GG_gmtZ/s1600/100_7944.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjejvddjxDy5J-UHCh96smoAROVhLy7LXENFll6_TwAqB8_5QXYJ3ker8Tm_rmOQkswLTzUIlJhxOg1mA2n3lHWBf8MUsBnmgU8qahX2Xbm0p_8DJKfyse_qYXolEfXkuVhyJHd1GG_gmtZ/s320/100_7944.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Isn't this just adorable!!! All of the paper used was from my scraps! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The tree and all of the images are from <a href="http://www.stampsbyjudith.com/" target="_blank">Stamps By Judith</a>. The tree is called the Tree for All Seasons and I then used the Butterfly, Cupcake, and Star Stubbs that can be purchased separately. The images were all colored using my Letraset Promarkers, which I LOVE!!! (I'll blog about those another day!)</div>
<br />

<br />
Hello Crafty Friends!!<br />
<br />
I'm so excited to be a Guest Designer over at <a href="http://www.gettingcricky.com/" target="_blank">Getting Cricky with K. Andrew</a> today!!! I just LOVE all of her stamp sets, and I almost have all of the sets she has released so far! :) <br />
<br />
When Kristal asked me to be a guest designer, I was more than thrilled! I already knew right away what I was going to make to share with everyone! A few weeks ago I shared a project that I made that included some adorable pinwheels, and I wanted to take a chance to share how to make them with you, so that you can add them to your projects as well! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmg6TPPagEe8TM3KOquDIgG4K6nKyXu0l1YYt5lfuNzRfETyY4nBfS7s3fYzGFpm9euy8wmapcl3P7KGHQCXkU0lYh0AnwRp0rWDPiYNq9BvOQLfPHIbYZ_3D56VU4uyzGfBMBbanFCQwO/s1600/100_7593.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmg6TPPagEe8TM3KOquDIgG4K6nKyXu0l1YYt5lfuNzRfETyY4nBfS7s3fYzGFpm9euy8wmapcl3P7KGHQCXkU0lYh0AnwRp0rWDPiYNq9BvOQLfPHIbYZ_3D56VU4uyzGfBMBbanFCQwO/s320/100_7593.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are all of the items you need to get started. The patterened paper is double sided and is from My Minds Eye: Fine & Dandy Girl 6x6 Pad, DCWV Rickrack Cards Blue & Brown, Mrs. LuvvyOwl- <a href="http://digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_10&products_id=915" target="_blank">Digital Delights by Louby Loo</a>, <a href="http://www.timelesstwine.bigcartel.com/" target="_blank">Timeless Twine</a>, lollipop sticks, brads</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuCZVsTimOaFK8Lv09wz7PtjRBb8Nd4kbtUVHu7sJ6wXqyHNX7PjeJX0Z3eKgtLl7T3y1tAXmC5K7s5yV6Mejs-yySnZ3YVe8OxZPCXvHPdOavKd1Lu0oUKwqjTEjcphUWdFRLLT3K-exK/s1600/100_7595.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuCZVsTimOaFK8Lv09wz7PtjRBb8Nd4kbtUVHu7sJ6wXqyHNX7PjeJX0Z3eKgtLl7T3y1tAXmC5K7s5yV6Mejs-yySnZ3YVe8OxZPCXvHPdOavKd1Lu0oUKwqjTEjcphUWdFRLLT3K-exK/s320/100_7595.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
From the 6x6 paper cut two 2 1/2 inch x 2 1/2 inch squares. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh13z-4CJrlNhf_pGfih1-XMf42aIeJhdShbORw9ogJPaC91oy3XJsStbH3UuH_jN-ABKAApyVIubtLJrWzEytKQ2mpXLd9rwSIRbsKSdCzpBCAVDcO755av_eiDRQlbZq6y8d59AkV9PTA/s1600/100_7596.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh13z-4CJrlNhf_pGfih1-XMf42aIeJhdShbORw9ogJPaC91oy3XJsStbH3UuH_jN-ABKAApyVIubtLJrWzEytKQ2mpXLd9rwSIRbsKSdCzpBCAVDcO755av_eiDRQlbZq6y8d59AkV9PTA/s320/100_7596.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next cut slits that are about 1 1/2 inches long from each corner to the center of the square.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1Hvg5_ICRjVpIstQB4uyLaoN6EPBnKS4k8tWsUCIovgX5sRebD0oESAXIiwEQhiuzEMProGH1n8lNajd5Zm4Pp_Xi3KKWzm1oPy2OqTH2Iga43c9oP_SJUv-2eK0QyjcJhwcqRfbwnUUP/s1600/100_7603.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1Hvg5_ICRjVpIstQB4uyLaoN6EPBnKS4k8tWsUCIovgX5sRebD0oESAXIiwEQhiuzEMProGH1n8lNajd5Zm4Pp_Xi3KKWzm1oPy2OqTH2Iga43c9oP_SJUv-2eK0QyjcJhwcqRfbwnUUP/s320/100_7603.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You will then fold one side of each flap to the center of the square. Each of the corners should overalap slightly. Put a hole in teh center where the flaps overlap and insert a brad. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRvEFeitsyRR78AEQIPnLIxpuagdRqF7tiHMFaSb_Cb1G21Rd74Vte2H0gylxJbhIXH8UQHVRhXBgUeY-w2Fj5ZmZlbg-he7JAaBsoklS3DBs9r1pvTJI2e1GFbbaiPJOK2P_Dk3e6ZuCZ/s1600/100_7604.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRvEFeitsyRR78AEQIPnLIxpuagdRqF7tiHMFaSb_Cb1G21Rd74Vte2H0gylxJbhIXH8UQHVRhXBgUeY-w2Fj5ZmZlbg-he7JAaBsoklS3DBs9r1pvTJI2e1GFbbaiPJOK2P_Dk3e6ZuCZ/s320/100_7604.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
Once you have inserted the brad, you can attach your pinwheel to the lollipop stick using a glue dot and use the twine to tie a little bow! I colored the lollipop stick with Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Vintage Photo. </div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Voila! You have now created your very own pinwheel! Aren't they super cute! the best part is that they are super easy to make! </div>

<tr><td>Hey there Crafty Friends! <br />
<br />
I can't believe that tomorrow is Monday already! Where did the weekend go! It was such a lazy weekend for me! And you know what...I enjoyed every moment! I have a slightly less busy week ahead, which is great because I have several crafty things that I need to get done, including our school's yearbook!!! EEEK!!! I know it will all get done, I just need to get myself a little more focused! LOL<br />
<br />
Anyway, here is a quick project that I wanted to share with you. It is a sympathy card, but it features one of my favorite things, Butterflies! :) I really love how the colors and the card as a whole came together! I hope that you enjoy it too! <br />

Didn't it turn out just gorgeous! The pattenred paper is from the Best Friends cartridge for the Imagine. The beautiful flowers are from a Prima set that I picked up at A.C. Moore. The butterfly was cut from the Storybook cartridge. All of the sentiments are from <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/" target="_blank">K. Andrew Designs-Sympathetic Sayings.</a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There were so many great sentiments on this set, that it was tough to choose the right ones for this card. I really love how the card turned out and it was super quick to put together. </div>

<tr><td>Greetings Crafty Friends!<br />
<br />
I hope that you each have had a wonderful weekend! I had a pretty hectic week and my weekend, while fun, was extremely busy! I'm looking forward to a great work week, although I do need to get our school's yearbook done! Eeek! I know it will get done! I mean I do my best work under pressure! LOL! <br />
<br />
Anyway! I just wanted to stop in to share a quick project that I created using <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/" target="_blank">K.Andrew Design Stamps</a> and the Enjoy the Seasons cartridge for the Imagine! <br />

Good Evening Friends! <br />
<br />
I have enjoyed every minute of my Spring Break, but unfortunately tomorrow means that I shall return to work! I honestly have missed all of my wonderful kiddos and can't wait to find out about the adventures they each had over the break! <br />
<br />
In the midst of preparing for the work week, I did manage to find a few moments to get some crafting in! I decided to try something that I've not done before and I was so extremely happy with the turn out. <br />
<br />
I've been seeing a lot of cards and projects with pinwheels on them so I wanted to give them a try! I LOVE how they turned out and the project turned out much better than I envisioned! <br />
<br />
Without further adieu here is what I was able to create! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7d1s-YNgpG7J5mPGYlfTISXvHE7qEawN4pmpC0nnW2VIjhL0iORxy2zvAbDgpQ-iHa2Rv8WLALHR8ooz81fSPDSVoSX-hhj51zYLu0vW6Z3E978unBI6m1CtevtmsVuarBqVR39GrjUKW/s1600/100_7409.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7d1s-YNgpG7J5mPGYlfTISXvHE7qEawN4pmpC0nnW2VIjhL0iORxy2zvAbDgpQ-iHa2Rv8WLALHR8ooz81fSPDSVoSX-hhj51zYLu0vW6Z3E978unBI6m1CtevtmsVuarBqVR39GrjUKW/s320/100_7409.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ4k-gnTIyCHMlYNmqoPzwLY_2Uskkw09A6ZnczWIrK2ahb_VyHqyhlKiAER9Zq0e5je2Cu_dJ3Er73D8BUEdvQDDSf9DU594fcFQPo0APJaqKLj7feCPdbFh2mrRYnzpVQ7vDU8V1JKqp/s1600/100_7410.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ4k-gnTIyCHMlYNmqoPzwLY_2Uskkw09A6ZnczWIrK2ahb_VyHqyhlKiAER9Zq0e5je2Cu_dJ3Er73D8BUEdvQDDSf9DU594fcFQPo0APJaqKLj7feCPdbFh2mrRYnzpVQ7vDU8V1JKqp/s320/100_7410.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
I cannot say it enough how happy I am about how this came together! I started by making the pinwheels. The larger pinwheel is made from a 3'' square and the smaller pinwheels are from 2'' squares. I then used brads to hold them together. The sticks are lollipop sticks, that I use when I'm making candy, that I inked using Tim Holtz- Broken China. I then attached the pinwheels to the sticks at varying heights. The grass is a piece of scrap paper that I had and then fringed to make it look more like grass. The clouds were cut from one of the pre-loaded images on the Cricut Imagine and then inked with Tim Holtz- Broken China. Everything except for the grass is popped up using pop dots. I LOVE those things! I use them on almost EVERYTHING! LOL! <br />
<br />
Last but not least my sentiments are from<a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/" target="_blank"> K. Andrew Designs</a> Stamp line! I just LOVE her stamps and I enjoy mixing and matching all of the different sentiments. These two sentiments come from the following sets <a href="http://kandrewdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=62" target="_blank">Of Mice and Lil Men</a> and <a href="http://kandrewdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=28" target="_blank">Winged Things</a>. <br />
<br />
This was a fun project to put together and I plan to frame it and have it in my office/craft space to remind me that having and using my imagination is a in fact a wonderful thing! <br />
<br />
I am entering this into the following challenges:<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.lovetocrop.com/2012/04/its-challenge-time-say-what-say.html" target="_blank">Love to Crop</a>- Say What? Say Anything! <br />

<br />
<a href="http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Die Cuttin Divas</a>- Use Pastels<br />
<br />
Well that's all I have for now. Be sure to stop back during the week to see some of the other fun things I have worked on! <br />

<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I hope that everyone is having a Fabulous Friday!!! It's been a busy day for me but I'm glad to be back home and ready to enjoy this wonderful weekend! </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I just have a quick project to share as many of us prepare for the Easter holiday this weekend! Before I left for Spring Break, which is almost over :(, I whipped together this super cute and small gift bags for each of my students. Inside each one was a piece of Hershey's chocolate, a Crunch chocolate egg, and my faves Jellybeans!!! I was quite shocked to find out how many of my students do not eat Jellybeans. There weren't too many but there were definitely more than I thought. </span><br />

Good Morning Crafty Friends, <br />
<br />
Sorry it has been a little bit since my last post. I have been working very hard with my students and it was getting quite exhausting as we patiently awaited the arrival of Spring Break! It has now arrived, well actually it arrived a few days ago, but I've been a busy bee in those few days. :) I have so many projects that I have worked on over the past few weeks, that I finally have time to blog about! So look for those throughout the week. <br />
<br />
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I celebrated being together for 7 years!!! It's so hard to believe that it has already been that long! Every moment of the past 7 years has been a learning experience for the both of us. I would not trade him for anyone in the world. We definitely belong together and the best thing is that no one can break the bond that he and I have created! :) <br />
<br />
So of course I had to find a way to put some of my craftiness into showing him how much I appreciate and love everything that he has done in the last 7 years and the wonderful and sweet man that he is! <br />
<br />
He is a big gamer and every gamer needs their fuel, right! LOL! So I decided to make him a goodie basket full of some of his favorite treats that he can munch on while playing Call of Duty! The twist is that he only got 7 treats one for each year that we have been together! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg78UPL3v-7jrq3nozXxZDebJ8K_byPCHS6V6S-U8D92GA7OFd4zV0ChcXWP4v_lS7rou2PBY_YGl2QecRqslOEq9yo4kleuDWP4JiTfr-Gw6jfUmoH1k4XPat5lBGvV_F-1Q5abhNqb1tO/s1600/100_7378.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg78UPL3v-7jrq3nozXxZDebJ8K_byPCHS6V6S-U8D92GA7OFd4zV0ChcXWP4v_lS7rou2PBY_YGl2QecRqslOEq9yo4kleuDWP4JiTfr-Gw6jfUmoH1k4XPat5lBGvV_F-1Q5abhNqb1tO/s320/100_7378.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I made this cute tag to go on the front of the basket by using one of the preloaded shapes on the Imagine and of course I had to use my<a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/"> K. Andrew Design Stamps</a>. The sentiments are from the following sets It's Valentine's, Fall-O-Ween, Coffee & Tea for You & Me, and Winter Wishes. Talk about versatility! I had to hand write the "7" because I didn't have a stamp for that! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I also made a card to accompany the basket. It is very simple and I love how it came together! It was a Cricut-less card that used a lot of the scraps that I had in my crafty space! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_0ZWTJXjAVzjOu4SxmY6Gq6xLauM4ER-1nwXbD8vRaFWdsshhtkMfbMJ7zlTp7A68ktk0hJNLlVZR4Vb6Ot5GCGwrZuGAsHV_UCe0lgiiZ6kARudpYC_kIKHTlqE2CN6cxJJADgl6Odbc/s1600/100_7382.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_0ZWTJXjAVzjOu4SxmY6Gq6xLauM4ER-1nwXbD8vRaFWdsshhtkMfbMJ7zlTp7A68ktk0hJNLlVZR4Vb6Ot5GCGwrZuGAsHV_UCe0lgiiZ6kARudpYC_kIKHTlqE2CN6cxJJADgl6Odbc/s320/100_7382.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVVUqReF5Ge6UJzVv0gBVbtJbui1ZggZFZV94uvoUntDk36e05z0XY3aJGekv0wRE-vxgnD2ejtDnHwIzg9oLA_mwVCY7ydVrFrifsVFEG9CHsrBhHKv8afGzKToEqCGHDu17_XNsQPTu2/s1600/100_7387.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVVUqReF5Ge6UJzVv0gBVbtJbui1ZggZFZV94uvoUntDk36e05z0XY3aJGekv0wRE-vxgnD2ejtDnHwIzg9oLA_mwVCY7ydVrFrifsVFEG9CHsrBhHKv8afGzKToEqCGHDu17_XNsQPTu2/s320/100_7387.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is the inside of the card, which also uses <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/">K. Andrew Design Stamps</a>. This set is called All In the Family and it is one of the newest sets that have been released. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">What would any celebration be without a sweet treat! I have another passion besides teaching and card making and that is cooking! I love to cook and try my hand at making so many different meals and desserts. For this special occasion I decided to try my hand at making a Chocolate Oreo Cream cake that I found at <a href="http://realmomkitchen.com/6917/chocolate-oreo-cream-cake/">Real Mom Kitchen.</a> We both like Oreos and every now and then chocolate so I thought that it would be fun to try! It turned out very DELICIOUS! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8tvua3idVSl9VNDBtVdQv-PiavHQQ0Rt6lfBlPHOOnKqHbZ6x4vmb9SWxlk-GMV_cCbBv9X_1er_epHIJEa-sfo27qplt1WtHQZ1D37SOJverEKm2f7QsOYORMoat3DnEmjRTzG2IMHCX/s1600/100_7389.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8tvua3idVSl9VNDBtVdQv-PiavHQQ0Rt6lfBlPHOOnKqHbZ6x4vmb9SWxlk-GMV_cCbBv9X_1er_epHIJEa-sfo27qplt1WtHQZ1D37SOJverEKm2f7QsOYORMoat3DnEmjRTzG2IMHCX/s320/100_7389.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I jazzed the edges up a little bit with some of the leftover oreo crumbs that I had, rather than let them go to waste! :) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div>Well I just wanted to share with you some of the craftiness that I was up to yesterday! I'm off to clean the crafting space a wee bit so that I can just mess it all up again! LOL! Be sure to check back this week to see some of the projects that I've worked on! <br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaQW_ywPDuU2BkKhKycBbGFLuKu7Kkl3ZK9DO7wjhPbx7S2O0XZ1DINQpJLHnEqeSdves7cHUfubofc1c4T4ZgNLODxI3ACPSWEM47uuN0r-Nfzm9w6EjKNTNWzCOIbRT0VxnULuqQWjhd/s1600/March+Blog+Hop.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaQW_ywPDuU2BkKhKycBbGFLuKu7Kkl3ZK9DO7wjhPbx7S2O0XZ1DINQpJLHnEqeSdves7cHUfubofc1c4T4ZgNLODxI3ACPSWEM47uuN0r-Nfzm9w6EjKNTNWzCOIbRT0VxnULuqQWjhd/s320/March+Blog+Hop.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Now let me explain the meaning behind this project before I get into the details of what I did to make it. Spring is one of my favorite times of year! Isn't it everyones?!? When I found out the theme for this month's hop, I wasn't sure what I was going to make. While I love lions, I wasn't really motivated to create anything featuring a lion. So I thought, and thought, and thought some more... and while flipping through the Enjoy the Seasons cartridge for the Imagine I came across this image of the sheep. So then I thought some more about what I might be able to do using this image. So then I whipped out my K. Andrew Design Stamps to see if there was a sentiment that could go well with it. Low and behold I came up with the phrase "Hello...Lazy Days". So why this sentiment you ask. Well when I think about spring whether it's the beginning or the end, as summer approaches (which is my FAVORITE season by the way :)) I think about warm weather and simply relaxing and having no real cares in the world but to enjoy life. As I looked at the sheep in this image, I felt that they conveyed my message and feelings so well. To make the project even more fun and to make sure the image and seniments popped I popped the image up on a cloud which I cut from one of the preloaded images on the Imagine. Because we all know when we are having those lazy days our heads are in the clouds :) ! Last but not least I wanted to find a way to make this image useful so I continued to peruse my Enjoy the seasons booklet and found the bonus cut for the pillow box! How PERFECT to go with my theme of lazy days! I mean we are going to need something to rest our heads on as we stare into the clouds, right! Well I won't be resting my head on this particular pillow, but I do plan to stuff it with some items to help me get through those lazy days. Chocolate anyone! :) </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Well there you have it. I know that was a lengthy explanation, but I just had to share my thought process behind this project! I hope you enjoyed it and that it inspires you to create something that reminds you of spring or your favorite season! </span><br />
<br />

<tr><td><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Good Afternoon Crafty Friends! </span></div><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I hope that life is treating each and every one of you well. I've been very under the weather for the last 2 weeks, which has taken my energy to do anything, and unfortunately it is something that I just have to let run its course, but I was able to get some pretty strong cough medicine to help with this nagging cough. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">But you didn't stop by to hear about my ailments! LOL! You came by to see what crafty goodness I have to share with you for this week's </span><a href="http://www.gettingcricky.com/"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Getting Cricky</span></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"> Simply Sunday Challenge! This week's challenge is a color challenge. You must use the colors <span style="color: #38761d;">Green </span>and <span style="color: white;">White</span> + 1 other color. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">This was quite the challenge for me. I searched through all of my paper packs to see what fun green patterned papers I had. As I was searching a great idea came to mind for me. This week is the 1st of 2 weeks for the students in our state in grades 3-5 & 8th grade. They have to take a state mandated test that is a VERY BIG deal. I am fortunate enough to be able to work with several 4th and 5th graders through our after school mentoring group and each year I like to give them a small token to encourage them to do their best on the MSA. So that was my inspiration for the quick and easy cards that I put together to share with you. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Here they are:</span><br />

<br />
Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!<br />
<br />
K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America. You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: </span><a href="http://kandrewdesigns.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: blue; font-family: Century Gothic;">K Andrew Designs</span></a><span style="font-family: Century Gothic;">:</span></span><br />

We're so happy you could join us for this month's Getting Cricky Design Team Blog Hop!! We have an EXTRA SPECIAL hop for you this month -- All week long, the Design Team has been featuring many of Kristal's stamp sets as well as an array of Cricut Cartridges, SVG cuts, and more in anticipation of the hop... If you've missed out on any of the week, be sure to check out our previous posts for MORE THAN 100 CREATIVE IDEAS and PROJECTS as well as giveaways, promotions, tips, and tutorials!!<br />
<br />
If you've hopped along from <a href="http://sierrababy08.blogspot.com/" target="">Kristan</a> then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to <a href="http://www.gettingcricky.com/" target="_blank">CLICK HERE</a> to start at the beginning with <a href="http://www.gettingcricky.com/" target="_blank">Kristal's blog</a> (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)...<br />
<br />
The pattern was printed on the Imagine using the Enjoy The Seasons cartridge. The cute little pencil is on two sides of the container and it is from the Smiley Cards cartridge. I used some Peachy Keen faces to give it some personality! I was inspired to create this project after seeing this post over at the <a href="http://www.somewhatsimple.com/the-mom-im-bored-jar/">Somewhat Simple</a> blog. Instead of using a jar I decided to make a chinese box. Probably because I've been craving chinese lately. <br />
Now for today's project featuring the Smiley Card cartridge and <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/">K. Andrew Design</a> Stamps!!!<br />
<br />
Here it is: <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHJ7ov4spO2Yh07WHV1bdOKfW-71DYwCsegRUmqmZxdhNZHL5DqVqV540C8yI-8n1f29wS4ge9o36-DUEI2nh1ayaaBow9cIfwth_Vae9L_pVNOrlM2lJ3Ud0pQ4NaRUMm2l7Js9nQyA58/s1600/Birthday+Balloon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHJ7ov4spO2Yh07WHV1bdOKfW-71DYwCsegRUmqmZxdhNZHL5DqVqV540C8yI-8n1f29wS4ge9o36-DUEI2nh1ayaaBow9cIfwth_Vae9L_pVNOrlM2lJ3Ud0pQ4NaRUMm2l7Js9nQyA58/s320/Birthday+Balloon.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>To create this card, I of course used my Smiley Card cartridge for that super cute balloon. I stamped the face using Peach Keen Character Assortment set. The cloud behind the balloon was cut using one of the pre-installed images on the Imagine and I used a pattern from the Enjoy the Seasons cartridge. My sentiments are from the K.Andrew Designs- Coffee & Tea for You & Me, Winter Wishes, & Splashtastic Summer. You can see what they look like below and order your very own sets <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/">HERE</a>. <br />

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!! I enjoyed some quality time with my boyfriend and that always puts a smile on my face :). I loved my goodies from cupid, but I have to say the most shocking gift that I received was a homemade strawberry cheesecake from one of my students. My students know that this is my all time FAVORITE dessert and I thought that that was the sweetest treat!!! So between the wonderful gifts from my boyfriend and the many gifts from my students, I must say that it was an overall great day!<br />
<br />
But enough of all that. Are you enjoying all of the wonderful projects that my <a href="http://www.gettingcricky.com/">Getting Cricky</a> DT Sisters and I are sharing this week!!! Have you joined in on the fun yet?!? If not, what are you waiting for!!! Hop in that crafty space of yours and join in on the fun!<br />

The background paper was printed using the Enjoy the Seasons Imagine Cartridge. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTXcZWSHfokFdlG2mNiyfOV0euEkpEqgr8c5vLZ__5ifOVmd35h73uc7MHMGJJqtQ8GsYnycxhunB_tP2vuA-znMapRWEmPD8QKsk7oS4NjFdQYV7bt3OJI09t8x4QgVOC-YSL4QcAQx3n/s1600/Sweet+Hugs+&+Kisses.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTXcZWSHfokFdlG2mNiyfOV0euEkpEqgr8c5vLZ__5ifOVmd35h73uc7MHMGJJqtQ8GsYnycxhunB_tP2vuA-znMapRWEmPD8QKsk7oS4NjFdQYV7bt3OJI09t8x4QgVOC-YSL4QcAQx3n/s320/Sweet+Hugs+&+Kisses.jpg" width="240" yda="true" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Isn't this just too cute!!! This is probably my favorite project so far this week! Although I do LOVE them all. This one just makes me smile. The base & lipstick were both cut from the Smiley Cards cartridge. The sentiments from the It's Valentines set were absolutely PERFECT for the image that I used!!! Didn't you know that "Smooches" was the hottest new lipstick!!! LOL!!!</span></div><br />

<tr><td>Good Morning Bloggie Friends!!<br />
<br />
Can you believe that it's already Monday?!? Where oh where does the weekend go so fast! Oh well, I'm looking forward to next weekend because it is a 3-day weekend. You just gotta LOVE those!<br />
<br />
I'm back today to share with you my project for the Getting Cricky Pre-Hop Week. My DT sisters and I have challenged ourselve to use ONLY one Cricut Cartridge or SVG cut to showcase for the week along WITH any K. Andrew Design stamp set. The cartridge that I am featuring this week is the Smiley Cards cartridge. This is such a fun cartridge that has so many wonderful cuts and best of all, they work GREAT with <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/">K. Andrew Design stamps</a>!!! <br />
<br />
My preview yesterday featured the card feature on this cartridge. My project today features one of the cuts minus the face because I wanted to use some of my Peach Keen faces. You've waited long enough, so here is my project for today:<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC1-_4Syqv_gwBPoWf9XWW9V8A0eGwIMp98pWDq_5lKhJkIA_4twZ4KUT39dPns8FF7HKvqObPxf7e6UXuZIdtR997usN-YFn839Mz_6uQbG3yHASpMPtox2TW0PSq0tLO2UFGEMwftcqM/s1600/Silver+Lined+Clouds.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" sda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC1-_4Syqv_gwBPoWf9XWW9V8A0eGwIMp98pWDq_5lKhJkIA_4twZ4KUT39dPns8FF7HKvqObPxf7e6UXuZIdtR997usN-YFn839Mz_6uQbG3yHASpMPtox2TW0PSq0tLO2UFGEMwftcqM/s320/Silver+Lined+Clouds.jpg" width="231" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It is such an awesome card in person. As you can see I used the cloud cut from this cartridge. I used the Layer 2 feature to get the grey base for each cloud and then made the white layers slightly smaller. I used the Happy Lashes Peachy Keen set for those adorable faces and then I used some stickles to add the "silver lining". My sentiment, which was the inspiration for this card is from the Positive Thoughts set. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://kandrewdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=2" target="_blank"><img alt="K Andrew Designs" border="0" src="http://kandrewdesigns.com/images/positivethoughtspvw.gif" width="200" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Get your very own sets <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/">HERE</a>!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I was so pleased with how this card turned out. It turned out so much better than I originally envisioned. But isn't that usually how things work with crafting! :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">If you would like to play along with us this week, be sure to add your project(s) to the link below! I can't wait to see what you create!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Be sure to check back in tomorrow to see what my DT Sisters and I have to share with you!!! Don't forget to mark your calendar for our monthly Getting Cricky Blog Hop which happens THIS Friday, February 17th!!! You don't want to miss it!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<tr><td>Good Afternoon Friends!!<br />
<br />
I hope that everyone is having an absolutely wonderful weekend!! I think it always goes by WAY TOO FAST!!! Can't we just have Monday be a part of the weekend too! LOL! <br />
<br />
For this week's <a href="http://www.gettingcricky.com/">Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge</a> we had to create a project to celebrate an Engagement, Wedding, or Anniversary. I think that these are all very special occasions and with Valentine's Day literally around the corner, I'm sure there will be lots of engagements. So that was what I chose to focus on for my project to share with you. Not only is today our Simply Sunday Challenge but it is the start of our Pre-Hop Week. This week many of my DT Sisters will be sharing projects that highlight 1 Cricut cartridge or SVG set and <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/">K.Andrew Design Stamps</a>. We truly want to show you how verstaile and wonderful these stamps are. <br />
<br />
Here is my project for today:<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbNBzlM0IwDl_Hhyphenhyphen8QkAmIN4xBLjuoc_rYuZRizRCUe3zGA2RhSyGf9FVNK2o6i6E-J-cdB0wVpKc2b3nJdyClyCtl2NpAI1ImOKkCMROWmo0cl7KZFRHr7ZUUEbONJltnEUuqve5006Xo/s1600/Simply+Sunday+2-12+Front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" sda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbNBzlM0IwDl_Hhyphenhyphen8QkAmIN4xBLjuoc_rYuZRizRCUe3zGA2RhSyGf9FVNK2o6i6E-J-cdB0wVpKc2b3nJdyClyCtl2NpAI1ImOKkCMROWmo0cl7KZFRHr7ZUUEbONJltnEUuqve5006Xo/s320/Simply+Sunday+2-12+Front.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The base of my card is cut from the cartridge that I will be featuring all week: Smiley Cards. I think that this cartridge is a lot of fun and I can't wait to show you how fun they are when you add some K. Andrew Design stamps to them!!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div>The center piece for the front of the card was created from heart punchouts that I adhered together to create this flower. I inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink and then bent the edges of the white petals to add some dimension. The "Will" sentiment was created by masking off and combining two sentiments in the Coffee & Tea for You & Me set and the "you" is from the Winged Things set. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div>Now for the inside of the card which holds the element of surprise! LOL<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHhI9_RJS7WVaTsDTQLIVINtN7B6p8eLar-r3x8DZe20-K-4nrAfkIGI3F9CaV1iXE5_g7WUNxDI1sx4wuibGIDAbO7VYsI7UCHabCK1Yvi-QUivRsM2d3wbY1h4FPOzwsgA2Auo1usfFo/s1600/Simply+Sunday+2-12+Inside+%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" sda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHhI9_RJS7WVaTsDTQLIVINtN7B6p8eLar-r3x8DZe20-K-4nrAfkIGI3F9CaV1iXE5_g7WUNxDI1sx4wuibGIDAbO7VYsI7UCHabCK1Yvi-QUivRsM2d3wbY1h4FPOzwsgA2Auo1usfFo/s320/Simply+Sunday+2-12+Inside+%232.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The box with the ring was cut from the Sweethearts cartridge. The "Be Mine" sentiment is from the new I Heart You! set. The "?" is from the Coffee & Tea for You & Me set. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This was a fun card to put together! I hope you've enjoyed it! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I just LOVE how this card turned out!! The girl is cut from the Rock Princess cartridge and the other embellishments are things I had around. Last but certainly not least are the sentiments! They are from the one and only <a href="http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/">K.Andrew Designs</a>! Here are the sets I used.<br />
