Some Bunny Loves You!
| Good Afternoon Crafty Friends and Guests! I hope that everyone is having a Fabulous Friday!!! It's been a busy day for me but I'm glad to be back home and ready to enjoy this wonderful weekend! I just have a quick project to share as many of us prepare for the Easter holiday this weekend! Before I left for Spring Break, which is almost over :(, I whipped together this super cute and small gift bags for each of my students. Inside each one was a piece of Hershey's chocolate, a Crunch chocolate egg, and my faves Jellybeans!!! I was quite shocked to find out how many of my students do not eat Jellybeans. There weren't too many but there were definitely more than I thought. But anyway here is my super quick, super simple Easter treat bag! Sorry about the lone jellybean that escaped! :) Ingredients for these adorable bags: Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge Enjoy the Seasons Imagine Cartridge (for patterned paper) Scallop Circle Punch Bunny ($1 bin at Michaels) "You're incredible" - Of Mice & Lil Men Pop Dots Candy to fill them up with! :) Well that's all I have for today! Stop by again late to see what other crafty things I've had up my sleeves! Until Next Time... Big Crafty Butterfly Hugs! ![]() |

Fashionable Friends
Splashtastic Summer
Now for the main attraction.... my project!!!! Now let me explain the meaning behind this project before I get into the details of what I did to make it. Spring is one of my favorite times of year! Isn't it everyones?!? When I found out the theme for this month's hop, I wasn't sure what I was going to make. While I love lions, I wasn't really motivated to create anything featuring a lion. So I thought, and thought, and thought some more... and while flipping through the Enjoy the Seasons cartridge for the Imagine I came across this image of the sheep. So then I thought some more about what I might be able to do using this image. So then I whipped out my K. Andrew Design Stamps to see if there was a sentiment that could go well with it. Low and behold I came up with the phrase "Hello...Lazy Days". So why this sentiment you ask. Well when I think about spring whether it's the beginning or the end, as summer approaches (which is my FAVORITE season by the way :)) I think about warm weather and simply relaxing and having no real cares in the world but to enjoy life. As I looked at the sheep in this image, I felt that they conveyed my message and feelings so well. To make the project even more fun and to make sure the image and seniments popped I popped the image up on a cloud which I cut from one of the preloaded images on the Imagine. Because we all know when we are having those lazy days our heads are in the clouds :) ! Last but not least I wanted to find a way to make this image useful so I continued to peruse my Enjoy the seasons booklet and found the bonus cut for the pillow box! How PERFECT to go with my theme of lazy days! I mean we are going to need something to rest our heads on as we stare into the clouds, right! Well I won't be resting my head on this particular pillow, but I do plan to stuff it with some items to help me get through those lazy days. Chocolate anyone! :)
Well there you have it. I know that was a lengthy explanation, but I just had to share my thought process behind this project! I hope you enjoyed it and that it inspires you to create something that reminds you of spring or your favorite season!
Don't forget to head HERE to get your very own sets of K. Andrew Design Stamps so that you can bring your projects to life too!

For my project, I'm featuring the Winged Things & Coffee & Tea for You & Me Sets. For more details or to make this set YOURS, please click on the preview:
Here is my project for today's hop.
It's a chinese style takeout box created using the Sweet Tooth Boxes. The pattern was printed on the Imagine using the Enjoy The Seasons cartridge. The cute little pencil is on two sides of the container and it is from the Smiley Cards cartridge. I used some Peachy Keen faces to give it some personality! I was inspired to create this project after seeing this post over at the Somewhat Simple blog. Instead of using a jar I decided to make a chinese box. Probably because I've been craving chinese lately. LOL!!!
The circles and thier patterns were also cut on the Imagine. This sentiment is from the Coffee & Tea for You & Me set.
This is the other side of the box and the sentiment is from the Winged Things set.
These strips of paper contain ideas for what kids can do when they are 'bored'. I figure to make it even more fun, they could grab a pair of chopsticks and pick things out of the box.
Here is the box all closed up, with a few "noodles" hanging out! :)
I just LOVE how this idea came together and I can't wait to give it to someone to put to use! I think that if I make more of these, I'm going to make some fortune cookies, to put the "noodles" into! :) How fun would that be to open up the box and find those in there!
Now that you've seen what I can make using the K. Andrew Design Stamps, head over to her online store to purchase your very own sets. Remember that if you spend $25, you will get the Mini Heart Bonus Set for FREE!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I'm so glad that you did!
Now you can hop on over to your next stop: VERO ......
