Last weekend I was asked by a friend if I had any creative ideas for wedding invitiations. After looking at many different blogs, I was inspired by the creations that I saw over at Weddings with the Cricut.
Here are some samples that I created to share with my friend.
I created the base for the invitation by using by gypsy and welding circles to a 5" square.
I just adore this closure for the invitation
I love the hibiscus on the inside of this invite!
Isn't this closure soo cute! I'm also entering these into the Getting Cricky with K Andrews A-Z Challenge
Both of the closed invites together
I also had a chance to create a thank you card for a former student who brought me a special present. He loves his guitar and all things related to art and music so I knew that this guitar from Smiley Cards would be perfect for him!
Thanks for stopping by! I love to read your comments they really do inspire me to continue to be creative.
I want to share a quote that I read from the Februrary Issue of O Magazine:
" You are the creative type. We all are---even if we don't know it yet."
Keep smiling and creating! Until next time...

Hi Lynda,
I saw those invitations too. Unfortunately I don't have a gypsy, but I noticed that Walk in My Garden has an envelope in that shape. It's next on my list to buy. I used another of the ideas from Weddings with the Cricut to create the ones I just did on my blog.

Lynda,
I love your cards--but my favorite is that You Rock card--I was a teacher and principal for 10 yrs before I took I leave of abscense 2 years ago for my son's heart surgery. I did things like this for my students--it made them feel very special. You are a wonderful teacher--I'm so proud to know you!
Thank you for playing my Getting Cricky Challenge--the new one starts tonight--so check it out!
All the Cricky Best,
K Andrew
